Microsoft has officially confirmed that the next Windows 10 feature update may be the highly-anticipated version 21H1.
Inside a article published today, John Cable, Vice President, Program Management, Windows Servicing and Delivery, says Windows 10 version 21H1, that will launch within the first 1 / 2 of the year, is a smaller update delivered as a monthly quality update, meaning it should install faster on all compatible devices.
This is something that comes as a small surprise because of the previous Windows 10 feature update is also a small service pack-like release, but on the other hand, unofficial information in this regard continues to be making the rounds on several occasions lately.
Launching in the spring
Cable explains this is the very first time Microsoft embraces this method early in the year of the year, and it's all because Microsoft really wants to use an optimized approach to make sure everything works according to the plan.
"Today, we're introducing the following feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1.
