Windows 10 April 2018 Update will officially become meant for manual downloading on Monday and Microsoft is predicted to also to create cumulative update including last-minute bug fixes and improvements collected in the last couple of weeks in their Insider program.
Plus order to ensure that this release runs as planned, Microsoft recently published Windows 10 cumulative update KB4135051 for Windows insiders.
Somewhat odd could be software giant hasn't said whatrrrs included in this new cumulative update, but instead it shipped it to insiders contained in the Fast, Slow, and Release Preview rings. It indicates everyone already located on the RTM build on the Windows 10 April Update, which can be 17134, should purchase this update and receive these undisclosed fixes.
Insiders can download the update from Windows Update, just like a typical build and other patch for Windows 10.
"OS build number update"
Since no changelog can be bought, the only noticeable difference certainly is the OS build number, which after installing cumulative update KB4135051 is bumped to version 17134.5. To check the OS version, it is advisable to press Win key + R and type winver on the opened dialog.
The earliest Patch Tuesday within the new April 2018 update requires place on May 8, which is also the moment when Microsoft is expected to release cumulative updates for systems updated to the current new OS feature update.
It remains to appear how cumulative updates install upon the April update given how troublesome they became in the past, because failed to install or caused problems after deployment in a significant array of users.
The Windows 10 April 2018 update is included with several latest features, including Timeline, Focus Assist (renamed from Quiet Hours), Microsoft Edge updates, Near Share, and a lot of smaller changes every so often for improved OS experience.
